Pedrosa has been a Honda rider for his entire Grand Prix career,
beginning with his 2001 debut in the then 125cc class (making it 16 seasons at
the end of 2016)
Pedrosa is one of the most successful riders in Honda’s history as so
far he has achieved more podiums for the Japanese manufacturer than any other
rider, with a total of 144 (17 x 125cc, 24 x 250cc, 103 x MotoGP at the end of
2016)
Dani has won at least 1 race for year for the last 15 consecutive
seasons, meaning that he has won at least one race in all his 11 seasons in
MotoGP. The only other riders who has won at least one race in 11 consecutive
MotoGP seasons is Valentino Rossi.
Taking the win of the San Marino e Riviera di Rimini GP in 2016 Pedrosa
equaled Phil Read as the 8th most successful rider in history with 52 victories
across all categories.
